frø Jewellery is the shop and workshop of Louise Frølund Bech, who came to jewellery from a background in architecture. That training shows in work built on resolved, unfussy form — pieces where, as she puts it, form and function make for a beautiful simplicity.

Everything is handmade in the Copenhagen workshop, in recycled precious metals set with hand-picked stones. The collection moves between raw and delicate, and alongside the ready-made designs she takes commissions — engagement and wedding rings in particular — worked out directly with the person who will wear them.

What she talks about is craftsmanship and intimacy with the material, and the relationship between a piece and its wearer. The shop on Ryesgade keeps the bench in the same room as the counter.
