A densely packed Frederiksberg toy shop of retro finds, modern toys and handmade treasures, run by the same owner since 2006.
PRiK — Danish for 'dot' — is a toy shop on Gammel Kongevej run by Annette Nymark, who opened it in 2006 after years of making film and television. It has the density of a very good junk drawer and none of the randomness.
The stock runs from paper windmills that turn in the draught to dolls and dolls' houses, dressing-up costumes, toy cars, musical instruments, games, books and small toy animals, mixing vintage pieces that will return anyone over forty to a 1970s childhood with modern toys and handmade one-offs.
It is an owner's shop in the old sense: hand-picked, closely arranged, and rather easier to leave with something than without.
