Inge Vincents works with one material and one idea: ivory-white porcelain, built by hand and taken as thin as the clay will allow. She calls it thinware, and describes the range as running from thin to hysterically thin — vases, pots, bowls, tealights and serving pieces that turn translucent against the light.

Each piece is slab-built in small batches in the studio behind the shop, so no two are quite alike and the stock changes as work comes out of the kiln. She has been a member of Danish Crafts & Design Association since 2007, and her work has been recognised at ceramics biennales in Japan and Korea.

The shop is the studio. She is usually there working, and everything on the shelves was made a few metres away.
