Tasja P. Ceramics is the open studio and shop of potter Tasja Puławska, who opened on Mimersgade in December 2016 after several years at the wheel — including time as apprentice and then assistant at Tortus Copenhagen.

The work is deliberately functional: cups, bowls, vases and everyday tableware in earthy glazes, made in small batches so shapes and surfaces vary from one piece to the next. Her stated aim is to carry modern design through an ancient craft, with simplicity, a little humour and an eye on sustainability, letting the clay speak for itself.

Because the studio and the shop are the same room, you can usually watch what is being made while you look at what is finished.
