Hye the Store
A Nordhavn warehouse boutique for South Korean and Asian craft, stocked from independent makers and small brands.
Hye the Store opened in June 2025 in a red-brick warehouse in Nordhavn — the first shop from Hyeyoung Hwang, a former Seoul-based editor with a long-standing interest in Korean and Japanese craft.
The debut selection brought together fifteen South Korean makers and independent brands: bowls, hand-carved wooden pieces, stainless steel cutlery and textile objects, alongside apparel and accessories from across Asia. The criterion is practical rather than decorative — pieces are chosen for an understated approach to design and for how naturally they settle into a European home and an ordinary routine.
The space is deliberately spare, which lets the individual objects carry the room.
